Band Practice: Day 1
Oh, I feel like a part of me's missing! I hadn't felt the goodness of writing my blog in English for so long that I've nearly forgotten the sweetness of writing my day in it. My Internet is going really, really slow (I use mobile data) and I didn't have the patience to wait for the damn blog editor to load. Sorry.
Okay, let's stop the sappy weeping like, right now okay? So, today I woke up at 6.55 a.m., brushed my teeth, took an ice cold shower and put on my band practice uniform. I had packed my new favourite novel (“The Infernal Devices Book 2: Clockwork Prince” by Cassandra Clare), water bottle, pencil case, notebook and food container that contained a traditional type of Chinese biscuit (IDK what it's called, okay?).
When I reached school campus, I sat a good deal far away from the girls and boys just so I could read my novel in peace. Well, not exactly my novel, but a novel that I had borrowed from the library five or six days ago. The day was peaceful: the morning sun glowing in the bright blue sky, creating a golden sunset halo around it; the crows that flew gracefully from electrical cords to roofs; the clouds making lovely shapes in the sky.
Nydia came before Yan Qi did and they greeted me warmly. They both had brought their phones, Nydia watching Animax while Yan Qi showed me pictures from our favourite movie “Big Fish and Begonia” (a Chinese movie, if you want to know). She'd even set her background as the main characters, Chun and Chiu.
Honestly, I was quite happy to see them. I'll be honest, I'm kinda perveted. Don't get me wrong, but I just like to get the cringe out of it, so please people, keep your head in shape. I'm not that kind of pervert that goes around squeezing people's bosoms for no apparent reason, I just read light smut on one of my favourite reading apps.
Anyway, let's continue, shall we? So we went upstairs to the private band practice room in our school that only we had access to and prepared our instruments separately, mine is a tenor saxophone, by the way, not sexyphone as my friends call it, well, I'd rather call them band-mates.
Okay, let's snap out of that jibber-jabber. Coach Ng had let us practice 2 songs, 4 band practices, scale study and our new competition song (I can't write it here because I'm afraid that people from other schools will see it and we'll lose all our hard work, no hard feelings).
I guess that's all for now, see you!

Okay, I think that's all. See you tomorrow, blog!
PotC is our song.
ReplyDeleteAnd when it is roughly translated to Chinese, it is eat-poop-phone. So...
Hahahahaha
The instrument, not the song I mean
DeleteWhat on Earth is PotC?
