Okay, so I have like a sudden obsession with vampires and Vampire Knight is so cool! So I'm extremely inspired but I have never actually watched VK, don't hate me. Longing for your Blood
You let your tears fall as you ran down the path of the Cross Acadamy courtyard. No, you thought, how could Zero Kiryū, your best friend say that to you? You ran to the dark, glossy lake to let your tears fall. You didn't know what to think anymore.
“Hi Sakura,” you greeted your friend. You were coming back from the Day Class and you were heading off to patrol the school grounds. “Hi (Y/N),” she said. “Have you seen Yuki or Zero lately?” “No I have-- (Y/N), look!” You turned and saw the prefect leader trying to get your attention.
“(Y/N), Yuki is sick so I need you and Zero to patrol a little more ground today. Be on your guard!” he said and left. Inside, your heart fluttered. You would finally get Zero all to yourself. “--I have to go, (Y/N). See you tomorrow!” And with that, she hopped out of sight.
“So (Y/N), still daydreaming?” A cold voice came from behind you. You whipped around and you brushed away your (H/L) (H/C) hair from your face. “Oh, hi Zero. C'mon, we should get to work.” “You know, this is not going to make me like you any better (Y/N).” Those harsh words pierced your soul.
You looked into his lavender orbs and ran away as fast as you could. You ran... And ran... And ran...
“Hey!” you said as you found two Day Class girls lurking in some bushes. “Go back to your classes, will you? It's against the rules to be out here at night!” you shouted through the throbbing pain in your heart. “Go back inside, Yeonmi and Sakura,” said a voice from behind you.
“Hey Zero,” they squealed and went back inside, giggling like crazy little chicks. “Listen (Y/N),” said Zero. “I'm sorry.” “I don't need or want your apology, Zero,” you said and looked away. Suddenly, Zero's eyes had turned red and the tattoo on his neck glowed scarlet. He also started having difficulty in breathing.
“(Y/N), r-run away from me. N-n-now, p-please,” he said while clutching his chest. Fear rised up in you and you had the urge to run away. But somehow, your legs stood firm on the grass. “P-please (Y-Y-Y/N). Arrrrrggghhhh!”
Suddenly he pounced on you, knocking you off your balance and you fell on the grass with a soft thump. Zero moved your hair away and pulled one of your uniform sleeves down, so your bare neck was exposed. “W-what?” Zero licked a part of your neck that all vampires loved.
Then he opened his mouth to reveal a pair of razor sharp fangs. The fangs plunged into your skin. The pain was absolutely unrest stable. You let out a soft whimper because of the pain. He drank your blood eagerly and hungrily, the sound of his drinking filled your ears.
You both kept that position for a few moments, licked the bruise and then he pulled away. “(Y/n), I am so so sorry, I...” He was at a lost for words, but so were you. Finally, you said, “Zero, I've always known...” “I'm sorry about earlier. Honestly, Yuki cheated on me with Aidou earlier. I said those things because I was in a bad mood at the time, and if you don't like me, I understand. After what I di--” You gave him a soft peck on the lips.
“Zero, I will always love you, no matter human or vampire...”
